I'm part of a few different Guilds and prefer Fair Trading.
However there are some guilds that rather than the standard 2:1 ratio when trading up have moved to the 'newer' method of calc from CA upwards something like 1.67:1 or thereabouts. Rationale being cost of good prodn etc.

Which do you guys prefer? Are there disadvantaged of sticking to the 2:1 ratio. It's got to be easier surely?

Any arguments for / against the 'new system'?

We trade goods 1:1 in guild, and we're pretty happy with that.

There are advantages and disadvantages to whatever you want to do. I do think it is good to have a guild policy for everyone though so that everyone feels they are being treated fairly. I doubt it matters too much what that policy really is, within reason.
