[Question] What happens if you cut a guilds territory in the middle?

Lets say that a guild has formed in a straight line; what would happen if the guild hexagons got divided by the middle. If all guild hexagons must be connected, what happens? Does the half that is connected to the HQ stay and the other half go?

If a guilds territories get isolated from the rest of the sectors, they would still retain control over them. There really aren't any adverse affects. (Well, besides having an enemy guild on your doorstep)

The only real effect is that your HQ's support bonus can't spread to disconnected sectors. Nothing dramatic happens, despite widespread belief otherwise. I've been told that it worked differently at one point on the beta server.
