What units in GE and GBG

IF I move up an Era after GE and GBG start what troops (units) will I face in battle? Say I move from EMA to HMA. Will I battle EMA units with HMA units??

you should do at least 1 fight on GE and 1 on GBG before you move up - then you will be facing those era armies.

thats how it used to work ~1 month ago where i saw it with my eyes IF they changed it, dont blame me

However the troops you can win in GE or GbG, and Goods you win in GE or GbG will be of the new/current Era.

GBG yes - GE nope (unless you mean relics)

Reason to do at least 1 fight, is because, a guy who jumped 5-6 eras in his own solo guild, didn't opened the GBG at all before he move up, and when he did, the armies was of his current era.
maybe in more people guilds the mechanics work (or used to work) different - better safe than sorry though
