Delete down to 79 Friends or have them send you the invitation.

Just to be precise, get down to 79 total friends. Some people think the game differentiates between invited friends and accepted friends, but it does not. So if you've invited 80 friends and accepted 60 friend requests, that gives you a total of 140 friends and you would need to get rid of 61 of them to be able to send out an invite.

How do you delete friends?

Click on their icon, select remove as friend.

If you do that on PC you go to their city. Click on their name to bring up the menu.

Was a glitch ... Am below 80 & can now send out requests.
If you need to check actives ... No/po every friend ... Wait a few days to a week, anyone who hasn't returned it, ditch
