Also makes me wonder if Beta will get it first. Seems premature to release a facebook post before it even arrives in Beta, since people will expect it very quickly.

I know, but it is much more fun if you know why it is really terrible and will be one of the biggest game mistakes ever.

More curious than anything. It used to show up as coming soon in the village area, now it isn't there at all. Then on FB, FoE sent me a thing saying something Egyptian was coming and they won't say if it's the village or archeology event.
I still have 2 Japanese Villages left to do, want a 3rd lvl 5 dojo.

It has to go to beta first, then a few weeks till it gets here, so I'm guessing a month anyway.
