Use the wikia, it will have the list of quests as they appeared on Beta, some quests may change but it will still help more than hurt you to plan ahead.

Gather Coins/Supplies - Sell excess buildings from inventory, build then immediately sell. Unbirthday Party, pay x coins and supplies for a random reward, may take a few run throughs but you will eventually get coins. GE encounters can give coins/supplies as a reward. For some events you can get coins when going for daily specials so you could also use the event to complete this.

Fighting - build up military GB's and use rogues

Make people enthusiastic - You can use the tavern boost, build a bunch of happy buildings, or preferably your city will already have an enthusiastic population.

Build X number of X buildings - Delete roads and rearrange buildings so that you can place whatever building is required. Then delete the building and replace the roads. Pay attention to the quest though, if it doesn't say anything about your age or the previous age, you can use Bronze Age buildings.

Finish Production - Plan ahead and try to get as many of the productions to be finished when you get to the quest, utilize the wikia to figure out what is coming up.

Acquire Sectors - Nothing to be done other than to acquire the sectors.

Donate Goods - Pay attention to whether or not the quest calls out current or previous aged goods, if it does not you can use any goods that can be donated to the treasury.

Motivate/Polish x number of people - Don't aid your hood! Save them for these quests, if your in IA start aiding from the bottom of the hood up, if you are past IA start aiding from the top of the hood down. You'll want to keep as many people that can be attacked and between easily for win x battle quests.

Defeat x Units - You don't have to win the battle to complete this quest. You can use a C-Map sector take it down to 1 unit, surrender and repeat. There are alot of places to fight, utilize them. GE, GvG, Hood, C-Map, DC's, and sometimes the Event itself.

Spend x Tavern silver - Look at the upcoming quests, if there is another coming up that requires you to activate boosts, choose a shorter lengthed boost so that you don't have to use diamonds or wait for a long boost to run out.

Acquire a Province - No tricks, just acquire it.

Solve x GE encounters - If you have completed all of GE this will auto-complete. If you are unable to complete all of GE make sure that you have enough encounters that you can complete available to fulfill this quest.

Gather some goods - If you are in a guild - set up circular trades (i.e. 250 gold for 250 alabaster and 250 alabaster for 250 gold) People will be more inclined to pick them up if it doesn't effect their inventories. If you are not in a guild, UBQ's or message a friend with circular trades and reimburse the fp's they will spend to accept the trades.

Recruit x units - Pay attention to the wording, if it does not say current or previous age, use Spearfighters, they train in 20 seconds quick and easy. If it is age restricted, try to save some GE encounters that reward troops. If you have a Traz, use that.

Feel free to add on any others that you have used.

Acquire Sectors - In order to acquire sectors, you need to Scout Territories. See below.

Scout a Territory - Send the Scout early so that it completes before you need it. Once you get the notification that the Scout is done, DO NOT visit the C-Map until you get the Quest. It's not until you visit the C-Map that the system registers the new open Sectors. Similarly, if you also complete the DC, select the Chest BEFORE you visit the C-Map. This way the DC won't give you any C-Map Sector tasks.

Increase Happiness - Delete and rebuild roads. Start with Paths, then build each type of road on top. Rinse and repeat until you've created the needed Happy.

I like it.

Suggestion: Add colors &/or formatting to make it POP more.

If you are planning on aging up after the event, save an upgrade of a special building until you age up, and the event building will become the new age! Likewise (this could be a bit risky).

If you want to win daily specials of the next age, you could save all the currency, age up and then spend them all that day (hopefully winning some new age buildings and units as well to give you a boost in the beginning of that age!). That is risky because you might shoe yourself into maybe not being able to finish the quest line if you aren't prepared!

That aint gonna happen, at least by me. You are more than welcome to copy the list and make a new guide with formatting.
Make me a mod for 5 minutes so I can fix it for you :p (don't actually)

Ageing Up During Event: If you intend to go up an age after the event has already started look ahead as to what quests you'll be facing. Any battles and negotiations you can expect to use the new age troops and goods alongside the previous age units and goods. The smallest army you have to defeat will be your previous age troops, so if you're confident you can build up your goods and troops by the time you reach some of the more difficult battle quests then you might not have a problem.

The big exception to this will be the GE which will be determined when it starts for the new week. So timing your age up to just after the GE week starts would give you a little breathing room for upgrading units and gathering new goods for GE related quests. (although your rewards from GE would still be based on your previous age)

Future Proofing Your City (Goods): In addition to Goods GBs and event buildings if you want to make sure you won't have to worry about gathering goods for the next age, buy from another player some of whatever is the highest age good available in your guild. 10-50 should be sufficient to start with. Preferably Future age or above. Then start trading down. You won't be able to trade all of it down immediately due to relying on the stock of other players, but you should be able to trade enough down to meet your current needs while also having some goods waiting for you in each age above

Continent Map: If you're too far ahead in the C-Map to complete a scout/acquire/conquer sectors quest decide whether you want to age up, use GBs from above your age or get goods for negotiating.

It'll be a lot easier to fight through the map if your troops are the same age (or above) as the map sectors you're up to. You could have nearly double the boost required for what a Colonial Age player would need to beat the Colonial Age sectors and still find it impossible to complete if you're too far below the map age.

So if the plan is to camp for an extended period of time while still advancing on the map, be prepared to have either every fighting GB you can get your hands on or negotiate everything.

To give you an idea of what would be necessary preparation, Colonial Age only needs two fighting GBs nearing lvl 10 to be able to complete it with Colonial Age troops (I used Zeus lvl 9 and CDM lvl 8)
