Can a guild with 1 member play in the guild expedition, or is there a required number of members in the guild?

Yes, you can. It's my understanding that you can do Guild Expedition, but it requires 3 members in a guild for the guild to participate in the weekly Guild Expedition Competition.

Razor is correct....I created a solo guild to do GE on a server for awhile. You just won't have any competition nor will you get any boosts to the crowns you win. On the plus side you know if you spend the goods to open a level that you'll be doing encounters on that level.
