"Reward" Pop-Ups during collection

Is anyone else annoyed by the fragments of reward and other silly notifications during collection? It just slows everything down and has no purpose. I feel if we care about fragments, we can check our stock. Grrrr..... it's taking the enjoyment out of the game for me. I REALLY wish they would remove it. I can't believe one of the developers thought it would be a good thing. Blech!

Not too loud or the next thing will be a big splash screen with a "Congratulations , you started a production !!!!" every time you start one. "You built a Blacksmith !!!" will come after I am sure to add to all the excitement being generated by all this extra clicking !!! Hopefully they have a really loud trumpet sound that you can't turn off every time. I can hardly wait.

OMG - right?! There must be a way to get them to stop?

I’m so annoyed with so much. What you said —plus it’s impossible to know what I’m doing half the time. Can’t see quests easily, can’t click out of quests easily, have to deal with that stupid red X on the other side of the city. The oddball thing is not one of these things needed to be added. Not even that dumb icon that shows how many plunders you have left, etc. Everything is just pointless and blocking the city view. It’s like an intro 101 course and the professor gave an assignment - you need to add 3 things.

In many casinos the area around the slots is always surrounded by circular passageways , no clocks on the wall , no windows ever and free drinks if you play. At the tables take a close look , see any croupiers wearing a watch ? You won't most times as it is part of their employment contract to not wear one. This is to disorient the "client" spatially and temporally. This is the equivalent of this in online games. Inno doesn't care if you are happy as long as they separate you from your money. Those "10%" chances that you see can never pay out and still be within 10%. The mean average only disproving this after an enormous sample is taken (1000's of attempts). Why do you think Inno likes pushing all event buildings with percentages and not solid numbers ?

Because percentages apply to all players whereas "solid numbers" do not. For example, the Trailside Smithy provides a 90% chance of frags for the Summerhold Manor Upgrade Kit and a 10% chance for a Sunhaven Palace Golden Upgrade Kit each time that it is collected. How can these percentages be restated as "solid numbers"? The answer is "they can't". Without fail, I collect my city daily which means that I collect, on average, 9 SMUK frags and 1 SPGUK frag every 10 days. The "solid number" for my playstyle is 9, and 1, per 10 days. However, this "solid number" only applies to players with the same daily playstyle. Players that collect once every ten days, cannot expect to gather 9 and 1. Instead, their "solid number" is 0.9 and 0.1.

Any chance we could make a change with these people or do they seriously not care about user experience? This is like the final straw - it's making me want to quit play after 8 years! I HATE WITH ALL MY BEING these stupid pop-ups. Why do they think we care about fragments...

I believe it reuses the same code from other areas of the game, therefore if they turned it off on productions it would likely turn off for everything not just the city

But yes, it’d be nice not to have the popups during collections

Personally I believe it is part of the problem of current crop of developers never having played the game. I am betting most of the people working for Inno no longer play the game at all. Where in the beginning many of them did. Now it is all about 'ideas'. Some work some don't.
The pop up for fragments sucks. And should have an off button in the city menu

YES!!!! The pop ups congratulating you for collecting regular items are not necessary, very intrusive, and annoying. At least give the option to turn them off. This is not a kindergarten game.

I do not think anyone at INNO has played the game for years. Certainly since the company was taken over.

You are correct, those pop ups are annoying as heck. Years ago they made it possible to stop having to click on every single building by allowing you to traverse all buildings with your mouse, without having to click on each individually. What they have done with these fragments, which I could care less about until they have all been collected, has taken us back to the dark ages and really does destroy the experience. perhaps new players may like it - until they realize how stupid it is and start complaining themselves!

100% ABSOLUTELY, completely, totally agree !!! It's pointless, I just rapidly click outside the pop-up box so it goes the **** away and look at my inventory once my collections are done to see what all I picked up. It makes collection time a royal pain, and it's so bad, it makes me want to get rid of buildings that do that. Hopefully, someone upstairs is reading this and will FIX it !! Especially since we can't make 'suggestions' anymore ...

Yes, and it's becoming more and more annoying to the point I dread collection time. There should be a check box for getting rid of popups at collection.

Hold down your finger of mouse button after the first collection and just swipe after , you don't need to click every time.

I would love to see an option to turn off the collection pop-ups. Alas, I fear these pop-ups are meant to "encourage" us to spend diamonds on automatic collection. Notice how every new event building for the most recent 5-6 events has these pop-ups?

Too bad the submission of new ideas has been closed since January. I suspect this is also by design.

i have started using that, it is annoying, there are many better ways to spend my diamonds....having an extra turn in GBG for example
