[Question] What does Scientist Kita do?

Scientist Kita is one of the Harbor crew member options. Her boost shows as a picture of a mortarboard (20% at level 2). Her profile calls this skill "Academic" and her description reads, "Early in her career, Kita specialized in scientific research about the Arctic. She really likes to share her knowledge with others and gives insights into the secrets of her research." I have sent her on enough trips to get her to level 2, but have not noticed any bonus.

What does she do?

IIRC, she increases the boosts of your other crew members by 20%.

She does not increase the +promethium boosts. Does she boost others?

The twins and triplets do, if I understand the above announcements correctly. I don't use them because they have to be used concurrently, which I don't care for.
