Wildlife Event 2023

Are you ready for a walk on the wild side? Grab your binoculars and put on those hiking boots, because the Wildlife Event is back again for 2023!

The Wildlife Event will begin on May 2 and runs until May 22

The Plot​

Your erstwhile guide Diane is back again to guide you on another wildlife tour. This year, she will be leading you on an adventure through a Panda reserve! Here she will introduce you to Guoliang, a monk who has dedicated his life to working with the Pandas!

Together they will provide 30 rush quests, 21 daily quests and of course 22 free daily currency quests!

Event Mechanics​

The ever popular block popping mechanic is back again this year! Once you've started a game, you will need to pop the blocks to move the reward tokens down the board. To get started in the event you will need to open up your event window and press Start to use your Entrance Tickets to enter the Wildlife Park and begin a game. You will start with 4 Entrance Tickets, and these will replenish over time up to a maximum of 4. You can also gain more through quests and by collecting incidents around your city, and of course you can also purchase them for diamonds.

Within the event window you will find several main elements to consider:

The Board	Where you will pop blocks to gain rewards! Press Start to use a ticket and open a level.
Pawprints	One of the main reward Pieces. You will need to pop blocks to drop Pawprints down and receive them. There are other Reward Chests as well (but more on that later!)
The Number Of Moves	Each pop costs a move. A level has limited moves and will end once all moves are used, or you can purchase more moves with Wildlife Coins!
The Grand Prize bar	Shows the amount of Pawprints needed to progress toward the next Reward.
The Daily Special	Is displayed here, and can be switched here once every 24 hours.
Coins	The second Event Currency which can be used to purchase more moves within a Level. Press the plus sign to go to the Shop and buy more Coins.
Boosters	With Coins, you can purchase Boosters which are Special Abilities! Use the Plus Button to purchase them.

You will begin the event with 200 Wildlife Coins to get you started! More can be gained from logging in once per day, by completing quests and incidents around your City and of course they can be purchased with diamonds! Every 65 coins spent will grant 10 additional moves. Use them wisely, and bring those Chests and Pawprints home!

An important tip! Using moves to create Reward Chests and potential new rewards is important, but do not forget you will still need moves to drop them below!

Follow the paw prints! To make progress toward the Grand Prize you will need to collect Pawprints, which automatically spawn on the board as you continue to pop up and free up space. Tip! Like a chess grandmaster, try and think a couple moves ahead, so you can navigate these special pieces to the bottom!

Chests​

Paw prints are not your only concern! Keep your eyes peeled for bigger groups of blocks to pop! If you can group 5 or more you can make a chest. The more blocks you group together, the bigger the chest!

As previously, there are five different blocks, and each different color type offers a different Reward.

	With five or more matches of the Blue Acorn, you will create a blue Chest Piece containing Forge Points
	With five or more matches of the Green Leaf, you will create a Green Chest Piece containing Coins, Supplies, or Boost & Rush Items.
	With five or more matches of the Yellow Flower, you will create a Yellow Chest Piece containing Goods
	With five or more matches of the Orange Carrot, you will create an Orange Chest Piece containing Medals or Blueprints.
	With five or more matches of the Red Apple, you will create a Red Chest Piece containing Army Units

Each chest will also have a star rating. The more blocks you pop at once, the greater the rewards! The star rating goes from 1 star to 5 stars, so look before you pop to make sure you have as many blocks grouped together as possible!

Boosters​

Coins can also be spent on Boosters, which will grant you special abilities.

	With the Hammer you can remove 1 color block from the board.
	With the Windmill you can change 4 adjacent blocks to your chosen color. Tip! The Windmill will not grant you League points.
	With Lightning, you can remove all blocks of a chosen color from the board.

Deadlock Shuffle​

Out of options? Not to worry! The Board automatically re-shuffles when there are no more available blocks to pop, and gives you the option to keep popping! As long as you have moves, you will be able to pop, and there will be no dead ends.

By playing along with this year's event, you could win your very own Panda Reserve! This is a special building with 9 levels providing the following bonuses:

Upgrade your Panda Reserve level 9 with the Panda Shrine Upgrade Kit to receive the Panda Shrine:

You can gain a Panda Shrine Upgrade Kit from the Premium Event Pass, by placing in the Apprentice League or higher or by winning a time Limited building called the Golden Panda Statue from the Grand Prize progress. This will give out Fragments of a Panda Shrine Upgrade Kit.

Keep your binoculars on hand to spot the Panda Pathway Kits in our Daily Specials! Link these bonus buildings to your Panda Reserve to further increase its output!

Other Rewards​

If you win all of that and still want more, you can also win the Himalayan Firs and the Rhododendron Fields in the Premium Pass and top two League Rewards. You can even upgrade both of these to increase their bonuses!

Dear players,

We're sorry to hear that you experienced difficulties with the Wildlife event. We have identified an error in the game which has caused the Event to become stuck.

To resolve this issue, we extended the event by one day and fixed the problem with the quest. This should allow you to complete the quest and finish the event as intended.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and appreciate your patience and understanding while we work to resolve the issue.

In case you're unhappy about the extension because you believe it's unfair to your rank, we also ask for your comprehension as your ranking in the league was also based on a bug experienced by a lot of players who were not able to complete last event quests and therefore, not getting Tickets and Wild Coins. We have extended the time so they can complete the event the same way you did it. So now, you and the other players have the same chances to reach the desired league.
