Halloween Event 2016

DeletedUser25771

Does anyone know exactly what the game wants you to do when it says say goodbye to 3 from now or 4 from before and then to decorate? I'm assuming it means tear down some decorations or cultural buildings but want to make sure I'm right first.

It's talking about people so these are residences, afterwards add a decoration.

I would suggest that we are being overloaded with events. They have become so common that it is difficult to tell one from the other. There is no urgency to complete an event because another is just around the corner.

If there were no guilds it would be a valid argument that a person not interested could just ignore the events. But there are guilds and these events are very disruptive to guild activities. It is difficult to keep members on the same page during events--especially with the advent of GE.

I would suggest limiting events to four seasonal events. They could be much more important and unique that way.

I would agree with that, too many events that almost run concurrently now. I suppose the events are a money spinner so why would they cut the number.

I sold two houses from the Colonial age, nothing happened. Usually, I'd get a checkmark announcing my progress.

Oh no! Selling a house 3 times worked for me then I built a tree, after I progressed to the next quest I built the original house back in that spot :p. Oh and on the next quest, about giving to a tree, it is in fact about completing a research.

I disagree totally, I think these events are like a breath of fresh air, otherwise the game itself as well as the neighborhood with which we play in become so mundane. Events are invigorating, they also invoke neighborhood participation like aiding others, and when I take the time to aid others, I gain blueprints, now my city is accumulating great buildings. I play strictly for free but I live for great buildings. :D

There should be other choices for these events that have scout and take over province. This is now 4 events in a row that I have been stuck on the scout part because I can't scout, too far in the continent map. As well I am not in a ballz to the wall maxed out guild, so it is nearly impossible to get the goods to take over the province to then scout another and then somehow take over another province. Maybe a pay coins or supplies, forge points. Something, because this is becoming nonsense.

The Halloween event isn't a huge event like Summer Casino or the Winter event but it's one I've always enjoyed. It's a throw-back to the good old days when all our events were not time delayed between quests - just do it at your own pace instead of having the game dictate pauses. I'm not crazy about the avatars this year, but Halloween always offers some of the most interesting avatars of the year. They aren't much but they are a part of the game and not going away any time soon, nor does it appear blueprints for rewards are going anywhere.

Stumped on a question in the Halloween Game...anyone here that can help?

#9 Knowledge is the power that you gain by the hour.
Invest in the tree and complete one of these.

Oh, never mind. I see this one has stumped some others too. Forgot that the research area is also referred to as 'a tree'. Just wondering if there is a particular number of forge points that need to be 'invested'.

Halfway through it, I am walking away from the Halloween event. I've used up almost all of my fp packages and most of my goods to get this far. I've been happily hovering at the tail end of IA, contributing to GB and supporting my guild, building supplies & coin. I have no plans to move up to EMA just yet. But the quest to complete a branch of the tech tree forces me into EMA with no way to abort, skip, decline or work around it. Since the quests in this event do not "stack" I am at a standstill and my hands are tied. I am notoriously contrary when forced by anyone or anything. Don't like it now. Done.

Nope, not any. If you had put all the fps into to a tech, but not unlocked it, unlocking the tech would fulfill this quest.
