Depends what sort of strategy you want to try on your new world. When i just want to get back to playing the game I like new new worlds where the game for a while feels like it used to - how long that lasts varies though (depends how fast someone whales it to future era). My last one I committed to doing GE4 every week from the start and I've been having fun with that. There's plenty of stresses on your resources early on when making such a commitment and that keeps the game fun for me while at the same time feeling there's a point to it
Other things you can try to make a world feel different and not just strictly worse include advancing yourself via maximising plunder, restricting your GBs to what you feel a 'minimum' is and focusing on advancing ages, focusing on an economic strategy if you usually would use military or vice-versa.
Some strategies like permanent age camping though are best done on a well established world where you've got a hookup for advanced goods at reasonable prices. But this might not be so different from what you're trying to take a break from.
My main suggestion would be to either try out Angkor or wait for B2 world to be released but it really depends what you're looking for
