That is not new. And you have to buy a new Forge Plus package every 28 days to keep getting no Ads.Update: New update announcement forum post saying those with Forge Plus don't get Video Ads, thank god even if that dosen't help much with the big picture of the problem

Good morning/evening/day,Please remember folks that this is as we mentioned before a test and part of the purpose of the test is also to gather feedback, which is why we announced it. If you keep your feedback honest, polite and on point we will absolutely be passing it on to the relevant teams. Your voice will absolutely be heard. Thank you to everyone who has provided their thoughts.
Indeed it is. $360/year seems excessive for a single game. A few observations:Thought it was a one time deal..wow this game getting costly now.
Exchange rate, different countries.Anyone else notice that everyone is giving different prices for forge plus and all of them are too expensive? In my city it's $29.99. I'm seeing people listing much higher prices on this thread. Why isn't it standard?
Thanks, I was wondering how long its been for myself as well. I'm pretty sure most of us quit playing the day they rolled the videos out. Anyway, I myself have started playing Apple+ Arcade Mahjong Titan...guess what...no videos to watch in order to play. Do me a favor and post a message if you hear that the video ads have ceased and i will do the same.Exchange rate, different countries.
Day5 of not playing. Found another game, it's sufficient. After day 3, I haven't had the urge to play.
can't imagine why even newbies would hang out spending tons of money, or accept being forced to pay $360 per year for a city builder game. There are likely thousands to choose from.
I am not getting them when I play on mobile. This thread probably makes it seem like everyone on mobile is getting them because those who aren't have no reason to post here.A/B testing would imply that some aren't getting the advertisements? But, from the comments, it appears that ALL on mobile are getting the advertisements?
I couldnt stand it when the bouncy punctuation mark on the castle lit up every time I did a nego in GE. I can only imagine the horror of those chests blinking all day long, along with all the other places Inno has inserted their greed into the playing field. I am in the B group, I suppose, and not seeing ads. But this is a thread for feedback, and mine is that I promise, when I see them, I will leave.I am not getting them when I play on mobile. 100% true - and I've wondered about this for some time....but:It's great to have some very erudite posts here. Thanks to a very passionate community to take time to maturely detail their opinions.

Within the context of that, the corporate jekyll/hyde strategy to allow players to start a new city in multiple worlds and let them design it to ONLY mine the game currency (diamonds) over time is now looking like a massive game strategy flaw. NO wonder people stop buying diamonds - they can learn the game, do their probability math homework, and build new cities that indefinitely over time, luxuriously drive that portion of their game.
Easy - way too easy.
For example: I play in H world as my "first world", but NOW use N world as a exquisitely crafted hybrid city blend of diamond mining and war/economics. I play AND earn what I need for BOTH worlds from EACH world's assets (H & N), and since there is a single, centralized diamond storage facility as an umbrella over all worlds in this game, each can use what it needs.
I guess I'm branded a liability. That's intellectually distasteful, but through Inno's corporate optics - their truth.
I never figured out how me EARNING diamonds this way helps INNO since I stopped buying diamonds. Since they allow it - I have done it. So do thousands of other players, or dare I say - 10's of thousands or gasp...100's of thousands. If someone knows why this strategy is a benefit to keeping Inno's bottom line healthy, please explain. Historically, in the anabolic stages of the FoE game/culture, it probably had more value, but seems to be "probability sheared" lately. WW's and FoY's and their shrink kits don't seem to be event hot offerings as much, possibly.
If you're not getting the ads, lets trade places.I am not getting them when I play on mobile. This thread probably makes it seem like everyone on mobile is getting them because those who aren't have no reason to post here.
That is just wrong. I have nit gotten a single ad yet, likely do to me not being in the test group for them. However, I am a player of the feel that I should voice my concerns and opinions on Inno doing a full roll out on their ad plays for the game. So saying "well if you're not getting them, then you have no reason to voice anything" comes off a little off handled.I am not getting them when I play on mobile.
