With the summer heating up lets cool the forum down. Many in the United States celebrate Christmas in July. Here in the forum we are going to celebrate Winter in July. Put your wish list together as we are going to be giving out past winter event prizes!!! Give us your wish list of the items you would like to see in your city. Also include buildings you would like to see in the future. Your list may include a list of things you actually want this year for the holidays.



Prizes to be given out will included 2 grand prize winners picked at random that will receive 300 forge points EACH!

We will also be giving away 120 other Winter event themed prizes including decorations and buildings. (10 per day) *limit of one win per player with the exception of the grand prize.


Our winter in July party would not be complete withing a Christmas Tree!. Enter the contest for the possibility to be awarded the winter prizes. Remember one entry per player per day, those doing more will be disqualified for the day.

Please be sure to tell us which world you would like to receive your prize on if you are playing more than one world!

This event will run through 11:59 pm EDT July 29, 2017.

* all winners will be picked by a random number generator. The number comment you are will be the number you are for the generator.

3 other greek Mythological gods temples tied to Zeuse's Level They would have to be smaller than Zeus of course, and not require roads, but be atttached to Zeus
a) Hermes/ Mercury Speeds up Scouting & maybe at a level 10 Zeus also speeds up how far my army units travel on the tactical map maybe 1 added square
b) Athena obviously gives some knowledge as Athens gave us both Socrates & Plato
c) Dionysus why happiness of course
d) Aries/Mars Military attack boost
e) Minerva Medal production
f) Diana the Huntress Military Defensive boost

My wishlist is:
1. For an easier way to expansions, although I'm fairly certain that won't happen, as people are more apt to purchase diamonds for expansions than anything else in the game, and by increasing a need for expansions through fun events like summer casinos and other quest events, etc., the devs see a proportionate increase in sale of diamonds, I highly doubt we'll see an easier way to expansions any time soon. But this is a WISH list, so...
2. "Assassins" or "Saboteurs" who are weak, but if snuck up to the enemy can one-hit their military units and take a long time to train so I, as a player would really want to try to sneak back out ("hides in forrest")
3. "Godzilla" or other big monster to unleash on my enemy. I'm down, out and not gonna make it. I have a one-use item which I found during a quest or event which calls the king of monsters! GWARRRRRR!!!! Giant lizard comes and smashes everything in its path, leaving a trail of devastation in its wake! Too much fun!
4. A tranquilizer dart for my kids when they come and bug me when I'm in the middle of a difficult battle.
5. A more potent tranquilizer dart for my wife.

Alright, let's start this off with my present top 5 personal Winter wishes for Buildings to start preparing for the shorter days ahead and get my mind off this dreadfully sticky hot weather:

#5 - Santa's Workshop (cause it's already time to start the craftin')
#4 - Cider Mill (cause it'll take all Fall to gather enough hot cider to be had by all)
#3 - Color Guard Camp (cause everybody needs a little color over the Winter)
#2 - Monastery (cause peace is a good thing)
#1 - Drummer School (cause paa-rrrumpa-pa-pum-pum, of course)

Well, I have browsed through all (currently 83) pages in this thread and it has really inspired what my 2nd entry wish-list will be. Today, let's start at the top:

#1 - That people stop asking for free, more, easier, rare and ultra rare land expansions. (This is a strategy game and they are arguably the only finite resource in it, so please reconsider what you are asking for and how it would impact the game for everyone.)

#2 - That people stop asking for easy-peasy diamonds. (There is so much to enjoy in this game for free and I am already very grateful that one does not HAVE to buy diamonds to progress in it... plus there ARE multiple ways to get them if you can't afford to buy them with real money. Do some research and then do the work.)

#3 - A new building - Shrine of Wisdom. It will make people stop pleading for Shrines of Knowledge... and when motivated it relinquishes the Veils of Ignorance. Put a SoK in it, we know, they rule... we all loves The Precious.

#4 - That Snowbelle, Maestro and whoever else on staff reading all of these is graced with the patience to get through them. (There has been no announcement at Christmas In July Contest Winners Announced for yesterday, day 3, and I fear they may be regretting this event.)

#5 - That all the new forum members (of whom I am one) would take just a moment to quickly review: Do Not Suggest List (Read Before Posting) and other relevant information. (This event is not a brainstorming session on game changes and the like. Snowbelle asked for Winter/Christmas themed buildings they would wish to be gifted with (which probably doesn't include Rogue Hideouts) and what future buildings they would like to see in FoE. Real life wishes too, sure, but if you want that to be a proposal for some change to the game that is out-of-theme to this event, offer something streamlined in this thread and then include a link to the proposal in it's proper forum place.)

Today, I shall keep it simple, yet hopefully profound and to everyone's delight! For my 3rd entry I would like to wish (in real life) for my #1 game change desire in FoE... and that 5 months is long enough for forum members to discuss, review, support, nominate, and submit to the developers... and to have the engineers and programmers implement it for the joyous holidays!

Wow! Congratulations to yesterday's winners on the Shrines of Knowledge! I'd exchange the 300FP GP for a SoK any day of the week. So, I'll just go ahead and eat my words from earlier now... keep up the drumbeats and chants for SoKs, I guess. All I can say at this point, "I'd like a big ol' bag of diamonds for Hot Christmas, Mrs. Claus!"

Alright, my 5th entry and additions to my quickly growing wish-list:
1) I guess I wish I knew if it really matters in any way what we actually wish for.
2) I guess I wish I knew if most people don't bother to read what other people wish for.
3) I wish I could 'Like' parts of people's posts, but not necessarily the whole post.
4) I wish more of the good ideas being presented here were also in the Proposal section for discussion and serious consideration.
