There’s a lot of things that escape your astute grasp.
After trudging miles to the neighboring city, the brave warrior approached the gates with his noble henchmen in tow, ready to sacrifice all for their honorable Lord and leader. Finding the gate to the city closed and unable to penetrate the walls, the brave Lord called out to the guards within ... “Show yourselves you feeble outlaws. Meet me upon this field of battle and answer for your heinous deeds.”
To which, the amused guards within called back ... “Why the heck do you think we built the wall you fricken idiot?”
