I need help understanding how the Chateau works.
It says that I should get 100% more goods on quests.
The quest reward displayed is 10 'papers', and I get 10 'papers' when I collect. Does that mean the original reward was 5 goods, and it was never displayed as such, or the Chateau effect on the reward is somewhere else?

When you have a Chateau, quests show the final amount you will collect doing the math in the background without showing the work. As long as it's connected to Town Hall, it's working.

Yes, the base goods rewards for recurring quests is 5 goods.
