Q ) trying this event in 3 other worlds and noticed my sleigh builders are useless for 4 hrs timers as I am guild less ( alternative junk most welcome )
Make yourself a solo guild just for you. Then you can also battle in GE/GBG/GvG if you wish. Just make sure you set it for invite or application only to join.

Question? Do the amount of Shamrocks needed increase for the same level as one does more cities?
I seems so? but I am asking in case I am just paranoid? LOL
I searched as best i could but cannot see any such answer.

They do not. All cities are identical other than the first one having the cheap reset cost this year.

Are you stopping at 250?

It takes 6.5 hours to collect 8.4Q with festival/ship at 300. (assuming drinks/fireworks are 50 and cake 100)

My second city is fully setup for the last four tasks. Gave up on the fireworks 75 task last night and restarted at 6pm. The next 24 hours should be plenty of time for these 4 tasks and 8.4 Q. Keeping the 1.5-1.75 day cycle is important to keeping the schedule manageable and well timed.

I'm following mooingcat's guide and it's amazing how well he has it down.

Ship/Festival are always perfectly balanced and in the early stages you're making _just_ enough goods for what you need. Not too much, not too little.

His guides are always great but gotta admire the job he's done on this one.

Here's a question I just thought of.

Suppose you get enough kits together for 2 huts but only 1 archdruid upgrade.

Do you put both down as level 9 to get your 2nd one twice as quick, or is it mathematically/strategically superior to go ahead and put up your Archdruid Hut and let the other make fragments on its own?

I thought about that problem... but for several Huts. The length of time to get all is extended not shortened if each hut is upgraded as soon as possible. The reason is the Hut stops making the archdruid as soon as it becomes level ten. Only level nine makes the archdruid upgrade.
So saving them at level 9 until all are able to be upgraded will get it all done faster.

This is true, however it makes no difference in the long run. Simple example of 2 huts without the archdruid upgrade (no blue galaxy ; but it doesn't change the comparison, just speeds up all cases).

1) Wait for both: 150 days and you have them both.

2) Finish one asap, and then the other. 75 days, 1 is up. +150 additional days to finish the 2nd.

So over the 225 day comparison period:

Option 1 has 2*150 = 300 l9 collections, and 2*75 = 150 arch collections.
Option 2 has 2*75 + 1 * 150 = 300 l9 collections, and 1*150 = 150 arch collections.

So it's just a matter of which one appeals to you more :)

It's actually impossible to get two level nines and not two Arch updates. The 50 frags are all over the place.
Not remotely impossible. Buying sets of chests at end of cities gives you upgrades but not fragments (did on beta, was removed). So the more you rest on buying extra sets of chests, and not on getting extra tasks, the less archdruid upgrades you get.

Most people will get less than 1 upgrade from the main line; and 1 upgrade from the premium line if they buy it.

Without the pass, 300 tasks with 1 set of chests at the end of 9 cities will get you two level 9s. and 50/150 fragments towards the first arch upgrade. Leaving you needing 250/300 fragments to upgrade both.

Not at all. I did the math on grand prizes - it's about 14 cities completed to get to the first 50 fragments. Considering even mooingcat says about 17 cities is the max you won't be picking up more than 50-100 fragments.

The only way you'd get more fragments is if you were using the time skip feature to do more cities/more tasks.

You can hit the 600 tasks within just the quest currency budget. Summary based on my most recent sims:

The main problem: 18.7 days means missing only 2.3 days worth of timer total when those fractional days start lining up poorly for you :p

The level zero managers are a quasi-necessity brought about by staying under the 11200 pot budget across so many runs. i.e. adding the 12 missing Lv1 drink managers would add 480 pots. But they're generally only annoying for the first hour of a city :p

Indeed, this is not an easy event to play around - especially if you have a job.

It's like 2 hours of insensitive setup, then 12-15 hours of periodic updating, then finally a 6.5 hr gap where you can sleep. But if the 6.5 hrs is in the middle of the day like mine is right now then you're in a bad spot haha.

That said, it's worth it - because you can choose your own prizes, and even buy more of what you INTEND to buy.

Would be nice if you're right about getting to 600 - that's 150 fragments.

Please leave your feedback for the St. Patrick's Day 2023 below.
The 'max' checkbox isn't doing anything. Checking/unchecking only makes the numbers change; buildings aren't being upgraded. If the functionality is not as described in the explanatory text you get when you mouse over, it should be changed to reflect actual functionality; I'd expect it to put all those shamrocks to use, not just hoard them.

'Max' allows you to do multiple upgrades in a single click (up to the next multiplier tier if you can afford it). I love using it for the most part :)

It doesn't do the upgrades for you, you still have to pick *which* building you want to max your investment in by clicking on its upgrade button.

i.e. here's a world i haven't been to in a while : 1677440620185.png

Max allows me upgrade my festival and shipyard to 300 in just 2 more clicks.

The "MAX" button? .I want to level up one building to get the flip to the miltiplier. Using the "MAX" button slows that down a lot. (since then a bunch f buildings get added to and take a long time to get to the multiplier. every one that is at a multiple shortens the time..) and the MAX button is a mistake to use.
There are a lot of tricks in this Event.

I took a long look at the trees. Planned to sell them all, but the Tree of Silence changed my mind. I can fit it at the end of a road without changing anything.

It's planted in my city now. The reno kit fragments will be very useful.

I thought about using the Tree of Vitality as well, since it has good boost but I'd be really disappointed getting 1fp 50% of the time so I passed.

I already have a building making one up fragments anyway.
