Summer Event 2017 Feedback

I'm not sure if you're talking about the elephant one or the palaces. Can you post your design? I only ask because I was trying for as few of the decos/happy as possible as I don't need them and this was the fewest I could use while still getting all the bonuses. I certainly could have missed something but I just want to make sure your design will work how you want it to so you don't end up missing out all the bonuses over a single deco.

Try reloading your game, sometimes it's a visual glitch that fixes itself on reload.
I agree with that: I always try to save something when an event is forthcomming.

For the palace set, the key point was to place one of the two decorations in the middle of the four, so all four touch the one. Then you only need three decos total as in contrast to four. I don't need happiness, so you just drew the design that I was thinking about like a day before :) ...

The elephant set was a design I did not think about. The fountain with the attack/defense is too big and thus, I did not care about it. Arranging the rest of the buildings so that FP, medals, gold, and supplies can be earned is great. I don't think I can get all items since I am still trying to get all towers for the four palace set up. At least six are needed and I have currently five.
Oh I understand now, you meant that exact set up. I thought you meant the set up I posted -1 of the decos. Which I couldn't figure out how you would have been able to do.

For the elephant set, funny enough I only put that together because after going for all those palace pieces that was what I found myself just having and went about trying to find a way to use them.
I did try that right away and didn't work
You could try contacting support but I don't know if that's something they will fix.

"Sale" 3 tickets for a 20 dollar purchase or a whopping 25 for $75.........I think Inno has lost touch with reality, that "sale" is insulting to me
lol and I just got a 40% offer today. Man if I'd bought yesterday I'd be upset. The extra 40% is worth a bit more than 25 tickets. In fact you can buy 40 tickets with the extra diamonds and still have some left over. Ah to not be broke. :\

It seems to me that any of us who have played this game for any time at all should be used to the crap INNO shoves wherever they can fit it nor do they care and dont listen to the player comments or suggestions. What makes any of us think anything these people do will benefit the ones paying their salaries. Its called GREED folks and maybe we should all stop buying their overpriced diamonds and send them a message. Alas it will never happen because there are too many playing this game who are too stupid to realize they have been ripped off

Hmm, the diamonds are much too expensive, I agree with that. But otherwise, hmm, I don't see a lot of crap. A nice event with some prices that are hard to get, just enhancing the game fun. It's a bit disappointing that newer player like I won't be able to get 100 of SoKs but then the building set gives a lot of FPs (though can be plundered but do not need motivation). So, I don't know about greed. But a game company needs to make profit. They need to pay their people.

I can see greed on the player side as well. Each ticket a win, each prize better and better, easy dimes ... isn't that greed as well?

And some suggestions such as less coin and supplies have been implemented. There are alternatives to research and scouting. Since it is a casino game, it is the game to have bad prizes. That's the game.

So enough of my opinion about all the whining going on here ... ;) ...

Why don't you start. Not buying Diamonds, that is. For myself, I get loads of enjoyment out of this game, so any money I spend here is well worth it. The only crap I would like to see less of is the constant Inno bashing by a small minority of players who can't figure out how to have a decent playing experience here. I don't have a problem with my playing experience with this game. The people I interact with in the game don't seem to have a problem, either. Only a vocal few here on the Forum.

Hm...I'm not usually one to jump on the negativity/conspiracy bandwagon, but it seems like wheel quality has taken a downturn since the first day or two of the event. Particularly regarding the Maharaja's Palace. There isn't really any statistical basis for this claim, but I'm suspicious that perhaps Inno turned a few hidden dials behind the scenes in regards to the probability of certain prizes appearing on the wheel. Is anyone else observing this? I'm trying to remain objective as always, so I'll continue to keep an eye on the wheel through random neighborhood refreshes to see what turns up. I haven't seen a Palace on the wheel since the second day of the event, though!

If you get two crap prizes in a row.
Get off the Wheel.
Close out the window, then return to it.
Spin again.
That resets things in some magical way.
Or you get a ton of these beauties...
[Disregard FP packs]

Close the Wheel window when in a rut.

Then open it back up and continue.

Here is what happens with the 2017 Summer Event.

1. You spend countless hours jumping through utterly stupid and annoying "quests" in order to win a paltry handful of "tickets" to be used on a supposedly "random" casino wheel.

2. You then spend days and days, monitoring the stupid-a** wheel for the moment that your prize appears — not with multiple copies, as in previous years, but only once.

3. Since there is only one copy on the wheel, another player may snatch it right before your eyes — which brings you back to waiting and waiting for a few more days. But that's OK ... because InnoGames assumes you don't have a real life. Your time is not important to them; their business model is exploitation of addiction.

4. So perhaps you finally manage to see your prize and spend tickets to win it. But no ... all of your tries win the other garbage on the wheel instead.

5. At this point, InnoGames wants you to buy diamonds with real money ... until the prize you want is the only thing left on the wheel — because (of course!) it was just random "bad luck" (1 chance in how many hundreds?) that it happened that way. InnoGames would never rig the chances with the purpose of applying pressure for diamond sales. Perish the thought !!!

Most of what you said has a pretty strong anti-Inno bias and is pretty subjective because of it. That's why I said I'd be continuing to monitor to see if there was a trend. Speaking from a business 'make all the money!' perspective, it does make sense to have the wheels look better in the very beginning of the event, in order to draw people into buying and spending diamonds - at this point, most people don't have a lot of free tickets from the event itself (especially since the second quest series is locked behind a daily schedule) so it's almost certain that a majority of (mass) ticket spending will be coming from diamonds. In that sense, the dials would be turned up at a time when it's basically a 'diamond players only' wheel period. Once that's all settled and the majority of the playerbase starts amassing tickets, crank the dials back down to a 'normal' level for the remainder of the event. Sort of an 'early bird gets the worm' scenario. This is all pure speculation however! And there isn't really any way for any of us to confirm or deny any of it with certainty. This also totally doesn't have anything to do with me refreshing through a lot of junk wheels just now and not seeing a Palace pop up even once. :p I think I'm just hitting a bad luck streak after looking at ardak up above!

I can't say one way or the other if the wheel is getting tilted or not. The quality of the wheel seems to be lower but I've been having some stupidly good luck in the event so I can't exactly tell for certain. I somehow managed to snag 3 palaces (one right off of a refresh) and a pair of 3 of the 4 secondary parts for the palace incidentally on my Tiny Town when I was aiming for oasis, reno-kits, and 1-ups (got 2/1/2 respectively). I wasn't even trying for them but now I've got 1.8 palace sets (only got 1 pond) up and running on my Tiny Town, so I guess it worked out.

On my main city I've landed a full fountain set, all of the smaller palace parts, 3 SoK, 1 reno-kit, an oasis, and several PME production buildings before I unlocked them.
