When players participate in swap threads, they get 1 forge point for every FP contributed hence the work swap. When a player simply contributes enough to lock a spot, they don't get the 1 for 1 swap, they get the reward earned by supplying enough FPs to lock the spot. No one is getting nothing.

Once again a reward belongs to no one until it has been secured by supplying enough FPs.

If a player is spending diamonds on thousands of fp than they are probably not a very good player. No matter how you slice it having an arc doesn't mean you spent a single diamond for it.

If you don't like big arcs, as many don't, that's fine but it seems as though you are trying to look for blame outside your own play style as to why you can't/don't have one. Don't want one? Don't get one. Don't like them? Sure tell us all the reasons why. Don't assume players who have one went through any alternative means to get theirs other than put in the work for it which you don't care to do.

Swap threads used to be pretty good but most of the time they are now being used to fill up the holes for 5th place or even just to finish out a GB with no gain to the swapper. Sure you get the points back, but if that is all, so what. I gave up on swap threads long ago and either trade 1 for 1 with a single person, or look for sniping opportunities on neighborhood or friends list. The best are those who self level because you can often get 1st place for a much smaller amount that those who don't.
