I am a climate scientologist, your world will burn when the Theatan souls release a nuclear bomb in a volcano or something, the Mayans predicted this and is happening now in Hawaii, don't be a prepper though as nothing can hide from it.

It's undeniable that it is warmer now. Though like the founder of this thread I remember back in the 70's when the fear was we were entering a new ice age.

Is there pollution.? yes. but it's better now than it was a few decades ago. so it is hard to buy into the argument the world is poisoned irretrievable. The world has gone through phases. the little ice age in the 17th and 18th century s. in the late middle ages the world was warm enough for many wine vinyards in England. It is warmer but is it natural or is it something we're doing even though we've cut down on pollution?
The problem is both sides are not talking to each other. The far right denies it's happening at all and the far left scream we HAVE killed the world and their plans just happen to try to pull down the far right they opposed for other reasons for earlier years. (I think we can skip AOC's flatulent cows) . But we need to have people reallyl ooknig at htis without the blather from the far wings on either side.

I believe that no matter what happens that we will figure out a way to survive. The planet is doing just fine. A few degrees here or there means nothing in the grand scale of cosmic forces. I think that people who think this planetary body is doomed are simply buying into the false narrative that humans are inherently wasteful, evil and destructive. Even in we are, what can really be done about it? Adapt or perish.

It's complicated and nothing that you can really reason out with your own brain and eyes.

The science is not settled, but a majority of scientists side with man-made climate change. However, you can't really trust this because since climate change is a reality being pushed from the government, it is the new status quo and scientists that go against the status quo lose funding and may lose their jobs because they'll be mocked, slandered, and ostracized. (just like anti-vaxxers now. Suddenly if you are anit-vax [that's the new hipster term for what you are now rather than simply being someone that prefers to not have their kid stuck with something they don't know or understand] you're some monster, your child's a plague-vector, and youtube, reddit, and other places have comment sections full of these self-righteous people saying really vicious things about anti-vaxxers. You don't hear anti-vax people saying this stuff about vaxx people)

Climate change is a natural aspect of the planet. Climate is not meant to remain the same and the worlds climate does not serve humanity. There was a period in European History called The Little Ice Age. For about two centuries the weather had cooled down significantly. This is medieval Europe, not millions of years ago. But you can assure yourself it wasn't caused by too many refrigerants in the air. Whether climate is changing or not is a straw man argument the media pushes. The real point of contention is whether or not mankind is a major player in that climate change.

Either way...yes, it is extortion. Industries have been created that are creating appliances and such that supposedly monitor emissions and supposedly help prevent the environment from tipping over into a catastrophe. It's similar to how some people like Alex Jones sell survival kits so that paranoid people can survive a political or nuclear apocalypse (something that's very plausible), but on a far larger scale since legislation will mandate that people must buy these things...for the good of the planet, of course.

Al Gore was the first person to sensationalize this stuff. He was also very much tied to these industries, has profited from it, and will stand to profit immensely once these industries really get underway. The fact that how much is too much or too little seems a little to arbitrary. Who will decide and how can you verify, personally, that you're not being cheated? Plus, do you know what the legislation will actually say? They're saying that everyone will be held accountable, but is that actually true?

Also, you'll have to be very suspicious of why the sudden sentiment for the welfare of the environment when things like oil fracking, deforestation, and the like are being green-lit almost side-by-side with this climate change stuff.

In short. The real debate on the matter is not settled, it's just been steam-rolled. However, whether it is true or not, they are certainly lining up to squeeze every little billion they can from it. The Paranoia Industry now has people paying up communal insurance on the planet. Have fun.

Indeed. And those who spread the fear porn want to control us. And when we spread the fear for them and ask for their control? They already do.

There's nothing suspicious about that. Oil fracking, deforestation and the like are being green-lit by "conservative" politicians who don't care about anything but who is lining their pockets.

Right. And the 'Libs' are white as the driven snow. They only have the best of intentions. No one getting rich or lining their pockets there, right? Please, are you really that dumb, or do you think we are? Two sides of the same coin. Opposing forces in the Hegelian Dialectic you refuse to see.

Could be. I don't know who is responsible for it, but I got a feeling that industry money is going to find it's way into liberal and conservative pockets. Well...liberal and conservative lawmakers. Not the people.

Saying "they're just as bad" isn't much of a defense. Especially when said to someone like me who sees the flaws in both ends of the political spectrum. It's just that the conservatives' flaws affect my life and quality of life directly and negatively, whereas the left's flaws don't.

The delusion runs deep in you. I actually feel sorry. Conservatism is wrecking your life? Really? Liberal mindset not wrecking lives really? You're a wolf. Judgement will be harsh, I'm afraid.

"Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." Romans 8:1
Go ahead and tell me I took that one out of context, too.

(Yes, this one does have to do with climate change despite the title.)

First video. Direct quote from report, supposedly? "We COULD be looking at..." Could, a speculative qualifier. In other words, "We're guessing here, but ..." First comment quote from host "I'm no expert, but ..." then fear porn. Then what do you know? Next quote with his added drama for emphasis, "People don't understand, there's GOING to be ... blah, blah, blah." Then off to the full on crazy and fear porn. Entertaining, I'll give you that. Keeps you tuning in, you like to link this guy. Oh yeah, since I think this clown is full of it, I guess I think there's no climate. That makes me a real climate denier, that's me. Climate, what a climate? Show me a climate. Yuck, yuck, yuck.

I'm just so devastated by that Devastating Climate Change Report that's being swept under the rug.

Notice Capt. Fear Porn doesn't say which Government agency nor does he provide a link where we can read the devastating facts for ourselves. No need for that, Capt. Fear Porn is hot on the trail and will tell you everything you need to know. The real truth, the truth no one else dares to tell. I do see there's a link to his Patreon page though. Gotta make sure he's funded to more of that hard hitting reporting fearporning.

Second video, didn't click it. Who cares what Jordan Petersen has to say about climate change. Hey, why don't we ask Alyssa Milano? Let's see what her Mensa mind has to say? Both have equal expertise with equal credibility on the topic, Zero.

Has every one in the world lost the ability to do independent research to reach independent conclusions? Based on those gems, apparently so. Everyone's just addicted to porn.

I really don't understand what people see in that guy, but I've resigned myself to a George Carlin-esque stance on life. I'm just going to sit back and watch the circus.

I wish I had the business acumen to exploit it though... That level of gullibility is such a waste.

This was never a thing. People remember some random headline in a magazine and construct an alternate reality around it. I linked the report providing the scientific concensus from the time upthread which laid out the global warming trend even back then.

What would pollution be like if there were no regulations governing it? Would there still be lead in our gasoline? Do you think pollution levels dropped all on its own? The planet is doing just fine on its own - it doesn't need us and from time to time does its best to get rid of us. I'd rather not help it.

Yes climate change is happening, BUT it's a natural event. Provably so, it's down to THE SUN. Temperatures are also up on Mars... now can anyone direct me to the martian factories and cars belching out carbon dioxide? No... well check out this video to see what's really happening. The powers that be are cashing in on a natural event and have sold us blantant lies and suppressed the truth. WHY? It's all about the money, and how much they can justify taxing people, that's why.

This video is an hour and 15 mins long, but it's well worth it and will show you the real science. I was angry the first time I watched this documentary because the government is duping everyone to line their own pockets.
