Hey there guys;
I gotta say that i was somewhat surprised at this summer Event, and a little bit disappointed, cause for me it seems to be a bit lacking in the ticket giving, although it is fun, i find that the rebirthing of tickets on your particular piece of land are far and few inbetween... and even though it is cool, there are just not that many to be able to make much of a difference if you don't buy diamonds to boost your ticket consumption..., i really like it however, even though it's got it's downside ...
i would suggest that it would be a little bit more active and fun if we had more drops of tickets on land, and more quest additions to help boost the action to enable it to be a more active EVENT, like makin some of the quests as a treasure hunt of some kind, that would go along the theme line, which could conceivably bring in much more (tickets)/(prizes of tickets), if they got ALL, or some or ...." you get the idea " ... etc...
Thank-you for reading this and hopefully there'll be a few who agree and have their own idea's that would help add to my suggestions, or ideas of their own... or that there would be challenging converse on the subject i just raised and wrote about... well until L8R, THX friends !!!

Posting the same comment in two or more places does not help you any. As I replied to your other post, the prize is determined at the instant you start, both here and in Vegas - nothing else has any influence on the outcome.

after 20 refreshes and not seeing one prize I wanted, I feel the same way. Yeah, I know, random chance and all that. Add to that realizing that due to my continental position (I had taken Gorski in the Mary Stuart Event) I have to scout 4 times and conquer 2 provinces to get through the Event Quests, well, just bad timing on my part. [/whining]
My fervent hopes you all do better on the Summer Event than I did.

I am getting two to four tickets a day. That doesn't seem very exciting. Is that the way its meant to be or am I missing something?

You get 1 ticket/day for free (hidden in the forest) plus two more per quest you complete (one directly and one in the forest). So it depends how fast you do the quests.

I think that the cost of 100 Diamonds to purchase a ticket for the spinning the wheel is a little high. I personally think it should have been set at the most 50 diamonds, 100 is just being a little greedy. I've already spent a lot purchasing the tickets but I still don't think it's fair. I know you need to make money but I'm sure most of the people playing this game aren't rich. At least hide more ticket in the surrounding area for that price.

ok an update, I have had 7 spins and got 4 freakin portraits..USELESS PRIZE, CAN WE PLEASE GET RID OF THE PORTRAITS, am NOT liking the summer event at all !!!!

event hasn't been great to me so far. just a bunch of crappy decorations. 2 pheonix statues, a well of welcome, and a sandcastle have been my only gold prizes. every time something good comes up on wheel everyone else wins them and i get coins. booooooooooooo summer event lol

Watching the Pro Tour (LSV v Owen in the semi's?) and checked on my city, Pressed the Casino with my 15 spins left. Finally an SoK on the wheel. Spin Portrait. Pfffft. WTF? Seriously? WTF! Hmmm. the portrait is next to the SoK... Spin. C'mon portrait! And... Yay-us! SoK! w00t! Life is much better, spin again. Why not? SoK? Bingo! Three's the charm? Spin and... SoK! Four spins, 3 SoK. Maybe this Event doesn't suck so bad after all.

More tickets won't do anything if you get PORTRAITS, PORTRAITS, PORTRAITS. AND MORE PORTRAITS. I have had the same pic for almost 3 years and do not plan on changing so why would I want any portraits? They are useless to me, but it seems that is what I am getting the most is PORTRAITS. UGH!!!!!

Winning portraits isn't so bad, since you can only win them once. Each one you have increases your chance of getting something good in the future (including future summer events).
